Biografie

Clarice Gargard (1988) is een bekroonde journalist, schrijver en documentairemaker die journalistiek, kunst, sociale rechtvaardigheid en filosofie combineert. Ze werkt(e) o.a. als NRC-columnist en correspondent Verzet bij de Correspondent en voor BNNVARA, AT5 en VPRO. . De documentaire over de zoektocht naar het verleden van haar vader die ze co-regisseerde, Daddy and the Warlord/De waarheid over mijn vader (geproduceerd door De Familie, regisseur Shamira Raphaëla), won een Gouden Kalf. Eerder schreef ze Drakendochter. Op zoek naar mijn vader, rechterhand van Liberiaanse dictator Charles Taylor.
