Quentin Tarantino (1963) werd geboren in Knoxville, Tennessee. Hij is de schrijver/ regisseur van negen films. Tweemaal won hij een Oscar voor beste scenario. Tevens schreef hij de roman Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2021). Cinema Speculation/ Filmspeculatie is zijn eerste non-fictiewerk.
